Subject: Bond Tracker — account and data deletion request
Message:
Hello, Please delete my Bond Tracker cloud account and its associated personal data, including RevenueCat customer data where applicable. Account email: [enter the email used to sign in] Please send any ownership-verification instructions to my account email. I understand that local portfolios and exported files are not remotely erased, and that I must cancel any store subscription separately. Thank you.
1. What to include
Write from the email address used for your Bond Tracker account if possible. Include that account email and say you want the account and associated data deleted. You do not need to provide a reason, portfolio contents, password, or recovery code.
We confirm ownership through the registered email address before taking action. If you cannot access that mailbox, explain this in your request so we can assess a secure verification route. We aim to respond within 30 days, subject to applicable legal deadlines. A drafted email is not a submitted request; keep your sent-message confirmation.
2. What we delete
After verifying your request, we remove your Supabase sign-in account and associated active app records: cloud portfolio snapshots, portfolio settings and goals contained in them, trades and cash/payment records, included bond definitions and schedules, cloud encryption settings, sync controls, deletion markers, and app subscription-access records.
We also handle deletion of associated RevenueCat customer records where applicable. Store purchase records may remain with the store under its own retention obligations. An in-app Supabase account deletion does not automatically erase RevenueCat records; contact support if you already deleted the account and need those records removed.
Encrypted cloud contents can be deleted without decrypting them. Do not send us the encryption code.
3. What remains
- Local portfolios, local recovery copies, and encryption keys on your devices are not remotely erased. Use device or app controls to remove them.
- Previously exported backup files and recovery QR images remain wherever you saved or shared them.
- Technical logs and any provider backups may remain until their configured retention expires. Records needed for legal obligations, billing disputes, or security may be retained only for that purpose.
- Support correspondence is retained as needed to complete and document the request and satisfy applicable obligations.
Details are in the privacy policy’s retention section. Signing in again does not restore a deleted account or its cloud portfolios.
4. Before deletion
Cancel your subscription separately. Account deletion does not cancel Google Play billing. Use Google Play subscriptions if you want renewal to stop.
Save a backup first if you need one. Encrypted backup files currently require the original account and their export-time code to restore inside the app. Before deleting that account, export an unencrypted backup for future restoration and store it privately. Deleting the cloud account cannot be undone.
5. Delete through the app
Open Settings → Cloud account → Cloud data & account → Delete account and cloud data. The app asks for confirmation and the current sign-in password, then signs this device out after the server confirms deletion. Local portfolios remain.
To keep your sign-in account but remove cloud portfolios, use Delete cloud data on that screen instead. It stops sync and requires an explicit restart before portfolios can be linked again. For this alternative through support, say “Delete cloud data only; keep my account” in your email.
